Description: Beautiful run through hemlock and rhododendron. There are frequent rapids, formed by boulders and ledges, getting long towards the end. Fairly clear water. Possible could start one bridge higher, but road has no winter maintenance. [Reported 1994]

Difficulties: Fair number of fallen trees, but no carries. Some cables and gas pipes.

Shuttle: To reach the put-in from Clarington, take State Route 899 north for about 5 miles to State Route 2008 in the village of Redclyffe. Turn left/west onto State Route 2008 and go 1.9 miles to the put‑in. To reach the take‑out, return to State Route 899 and turn right/south. Return to the intersection with State Route 2001 at the Clarion River. Turn right/west onto State Route 2001 and go about 1,000 feet to the mouth of Maple Creek.
