Description: Hazy water due to mine pollution. The town of Sligo is very unappealing. Below Sligo, is pleasant with farms, strip mines, woods and good visibility over banks. Stream consists of gravel riffles and pools. The last stretch, below Cherry Run, is a hemlock gorge with continuous, easy whitewater. [Reported 1993]

Difficulties: There are a medium number of strainers.

Shuttle: The put‑in is on State Route 68 about 0.4 miles east of the intersection of State Route 58 and State Route 68. To get the take‑out, return to the junction. Continue straight/west on State Route 58 for about 3.9 miles to the bridge over the Clarion River. You will have to paddle about .02 miles upstream on the Clarion River to reach the take-out bridge
