Description: The beginning is on a concrete creek bed by the turnpike. As it leaves Unionville, it enters a farming valley. There is one reclaimed strip mine, which is now an exclusive fishing lake. The creek bypasses this lake. [Reported 1998]

Difficulties: None. Do not stop on the lake property.

Shuttle: The put-in is at the State Route 68 bridge just east of Unionville. To reach the take‑out, go north on State Route 68 to the first left, which is Brush Creek Road. Turn left/north and go to a stop sign at State Route 1019. Turn left/east onto State Route 1019 and go to State Route 588. Turn right/east onto State Route 588 and go to T 613. Turn left/west onto T 613 and go to the first stop sign at State Route 1007. Turn left/west onto State Route 1007 and go to the first bridge, which is the take‑out.

Gauge: None. Check at the State Route 68 Bridge in Unionville. This is the shallowest point.

Normal Wet Period: No available statistics on seasons. Since this section is tiny, it should normally be runnable only after a heavy rain or during spring snowmelt.
