Description: High mud banks all along the creek. Village of Sycamore dump raw sewage into the creek. (Reported 2001)

Difficulties: Some logs jams and trees down.

Shuttle: To reach the put-in, take State Route 18 northeast from Waynesburg and go 4.0 miles to Township Road T478. Turn left/south and put in at the bridge. To reach the take‑out, return to Waynesburg, to the junction of State Route 18 and State Route 21. Turn right/west onto State Route 21 go to where State Route 21 crosses the creek.

Gauge: Wheeling Creek. This gauge should read between 2.4 and 2.5 feet (2003 rating table). This corresponds to a flow of 490 to 600 cfs

Normal Wet Period: No available statistics on seasons. Since this section is tiny, it should normally be runnable only after a heavy rain or during spring snowmelt.
